Original is amber, repop more yellow. Inside, the edge of the amber part looks like red overspray, repo not. Interstingly, a bright red LED behind the amber/yellow appears bright red through either lens.

I have a stack of 1929-'31 tail light lenses that I think are original, but I am not sure. There are variations in the vertical flutes in shape and number. The deep colors are consistent. I also have some close reproductions likely made before WW2.
Looking at the basic part number A-13450, and trying to see what happened to get to a A-13450-B2 is not apparent. According to the July 1, 1931 parts Price List:
A-13450-AR is a red lens for 1928 & '29 where the "R" indicates the part is out of production but continued for service;
A-13450-B is a red lens for 1929 & '30;
From Vince Falter's site:
A-13450-B2 is red & amber for 1929-'31.
According to the "Big Green Book" that has service replacement parts:
A-13450-A is red for 1928-'31;
B-13450-B is red for 1928-'44.
Apparently the A-13450-B2 red & amber lens went away with the end of Model "A" production.

Glass is made to look red by adding gold. That might be why the colour is not as rich as it used to be.

All original lenses also have a chamfered inside edge to accommodate the wire retaining ring.

The 1929-'31 tail light lens is one of the most mysterious parts of the Model "A". In all my years in our hobby, I have yet to know anyone who can conclude conclusively what is an original tail light lens. The Ford engineering drawing, if it exists, would resolve what is correct and what is not.

There are two gaskets. A-13460-B inner rear lamp door gasket,
A-13461 outer rear lamp door gasket.
