A TCI Saturday night special, I think I would go to the TCI site and see if they have any install info for it. You might have to get a part number off the housing of the tranny. Does it lock into the pump and seat correctly? Last couple of converters I used I filled them as much as I could, carefully seated them into the trans housing and rotated them until they found contact within the trans gears and pump and added fluid as required by fluid levels. This was on a 69 c4 and a 74ish c6. Hope this helps.

I couldn,t find anything on there site other then pan fill was used on trucks and larger cars. They also said they were stronger.
I,ll try it in the larger bellhouing case fill and see if it hits, maybe to big for case.I bought it few years ago and needing one now.

Check the spline count on the input shaft. Some have a larger diameter input shaft than others. The shaft should pull right out of the trans and you can check the fit into the converter. I used to work on these but it has been a while. If the bellhousing attaches to the case not the front pump bolts, that is the stronger trans.

I think all C4s 79 and older were pan filled, and many pickups were pan filled, and were C5s.
