Default front axle /spindle fitment .

I just replaced a stock front axle with 4" dropped on a Model A.
Took me a while to figure out that the link that connects the two spindles is at least an inch TOO long now and cannot adjust toe. Anyone run into this situation and if so, any advice of solution ? Luckily, all linkage clears the front of my '32 four cylinder engine . I will move this if in the wrong place ?

Yeah, you either find a shorter tie rod, maybe one from a 37-40 or something like that, or if you want to keep the early type ends you need to get the correct die and die the threads a bit further down the tubing.

The thread is 11/16" 24 you could just do the one end so you only need one die.

Here's Dennis Lacy's excellent thread on his 32 pickup rebuild. Page 5 shows the process. The whole thread is well worth a read, it will probably show you lots of things you hadn't even thought of.

Hey Mart
THANKS !
As usual, you are a very helpful/knowledgeable guy !
Appreciate the link/thread(?) and will consume it all,eh !
Providing the die size/number is very helpful and I will take your advice on the one side only. I just spoke with Lacy and didn't think to ask then. Lately, 'didn't think' has become the norm..bummer

BTW...ironically, that Lacy thread is about his '32 truck. Not very long ago, I tried and just missed buying the B engine from his truck...just missed out !!
