Default Floor mats re-visited

Need a floor mat for 40-47 truck, have purchased from Macs in the past but was wondering who makes and or carries the best, with and with out holes. Wondering who has had recent experience with this issue.

thanks guys.

Mark,
I bought the mat for my '40 big truck before I sold it from Joe's Antique Auto but it came in a Dennis Carpenter box. I got the one without holes since Joe wasn't sure if the big truck pedal locations were the same as a p/u. The mat was nice quality and fit nicely after I cut the holes for the pedals, steering column, and the 2 shifters. Can't speak for any other suppliers but when I get a mat for my '39 p/u I'll go the same route. FWIW.

The mat in the tonner was also made by Carpenter. I bought it from LeBaron Bonney. I ordered it without the holes and cut to fit. It came with a disclaimer about the look not being exactly perfect due to the use of a well used mat for making the mold which IMO isn't a problem since the imperfections add a vintage patina look to the cab interior.

I bought my mat for my '39 PU from Carpenter. I bought some rubber runner at Lowes and made up a pattern and then traced onto the new mat. Looks good and fits good. Price was around $100.
