Default Y-block Throttle Bell Crank

Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements)
Has anybody installed a later carb on their y-block and used the original throttle bell crank with it? My Merc has an Edelbrock carb which I like, but the bell crank and associated linkage is missing. The way it is now I can't get full throttle because the linkage geometry is different without the bell crank. I have access to a bell crank but before I pull the trigger I'd like to see if anybody else has been down the same road. TIA for any help.
