day at the drags
we took the dragster out to the strip on sat for the nostalgia meeting,it was a big rush job as we were only back from overseas on the wed and took a few days to get sorted.
we had a small problem with our launches and gear changes, but found that the front suspension had sagged allowing the wheelie bar again to be too high. fixed that and in 20C in the mid arvo ran three good runs, best at 9.44 at 139.45 MPH, had a few wins but not enough to get into the final. the new expensive data logger is really good to use and gives us great info. like A/F in the low to mid 11 at full throttle in top gear. a good day. for the first time we have some maint to do ,like a cracked water tank mount,(wow). lawrie |
