Grease Baffle
Started replacing rear brake shoes on our '28 roadster, std and e-brake, and noticed that I do NOT have a grease baffle (at least on the right rear). Is that a problem or did the early '28s not have them?

Re: Grease Baffle
There are two lengths of bolt/nut combinations like Steve P says.
Repros and second style use "shouldered" nuts and shorter bolts. Original style with the "spacers" welded to plate use the LONGER bolts and different nuts from stamped metal plates. Just order the correct bolts for the plates that you have or buy. Last edited by Benson; 05-07-2019 at 07:34 PM. |
