Re: I do appreciate the help.............
I am pretty new here also-purchased my first Model A at the end of this past summer. I've been a car guy since I was a toddler, but never had a vintage car with even an engine in the front or a radiator before, so had a lot to learn when buying this. There were some VERY trying times with this car at the beginning, but thanks in LARGE part to the kind and patient folks on here, I now have an 83 year old car that is fun and reliable, fighting the urban grind out with the newest cars and attracting a lot more attention while doing so! I felt a little apprehensive myself, posting questions that I knew were probably somewhere on here already, knowing that I would be outing myself as a newbie, etc. But you know what? Everyone here was very helpful, offering ideas and suggestions, that led me to my car becoming enjoyable. I even trust my car now! For a while there, I was convinced I needed to tie a rope the back bumper, and leave the other end at home, so my wife could pull me back when this thing quit.
I admit that I do feel a little guilt, not being knowledgeable enough to answer many questions to those in need, but I'll get there. |

Re: I do appreciate the help.............
I'm in the same boat as you. I can't give much advice concerning As. I'll never get....there. I suffer with the Baby Boomer Syndrome. I have the Mother of All short term memory losses so what I learned yesterday is now in my save file to re-read when needed if and when I remember I have saved answers to questions I've asked before.
