Default A Day in the Country

We have just spent a pleasant weekend in the A's in the Herefordshire countryside, details of which will be explained in the attached clip. As you can see it is the most fun possibly on four wheels so get yourselves sorted out on your side of the pond and arrange some events !

Only the English could turn crappy weather and mud into so much fun. GREAT VIDEO! I enjoyed every minute. Harriet earns a 10 out of 10 on the cute meter. She should look for work on the BBC.

Yes,you are quite right as a good wet day on Friday certainly spiced up the event on Saturday making it more of a challenge. Here's my A on Sunday in need of a little TLC but at least I will have plenty of time as the season is now over till next October.

Austin Sevens and A's are very popular for that reason. They are very strong and if they do break which is rarely the parts are all available at reasonable prices.A nice low revving engine with a heap of torque is another plus point.
Still not sure why that photo came out upside down !

Great film. Do any Model A clubs organize this sort of thing in the US? (it looks to have "new hobby" possibilities)

As a kid in Southeast Oklahoma, this was an everyday occurance, just to go somewhere. Chief was a GREAT mud PILOT & had lots of tricks to get over tough spots. It was GREAT FUN!!
