1950's F100
We found a 50's era F100 recently on our ranch. Even though it's been there probably 35 years it looks to be in good shape, particularly as far as the body goes. The curved windshield is still intact, surprisingly. However, the wooden truck bed and tires are gone. There is a photo attached and we can get you more if interested.

Re: 1950's F100
that is a 58 to 61 or 2, not a vey popular truck, bed wood $500 to $600, tires $200 to $300, if the price of the truck is over $800 I doubt if you will get to much interest

Re: 1950's F100
It's '58-'60........ Complete different style in '61.
Also, by the last line in your post, this appears to be a For Sale AD, so you should list it in the correct place here, the Swap Meet section. .

Re: 1950's F100
Lanny, your right, but it could also be a 57 still not desirable truck

The '57 still had 2 headlights, not 4.

Re: 1950's F100
As HM said, it is a '59. I understand why the 56 and back are so popular, but I never thought the 61-65 was better looking than the 57-60 "box" trucks. IMHO only the Unibody 61-63 was good looking and the worst were the "wrong bed" trucks (I think some 63s and the 64 model, after discontinuation of the unibody and before the 65-66 with a bed the matched the cab lines). The 65-66 was decent, and they were good trucks.
At any rate, there are a few that like these, and if you can get it reasonably, it is worth saving! Like RCM says, you never know, and I think their day is coming. |

Re: 1950's F100
I wouldn't mind owning one of these type of trucks but I'm not looking for a project.
The cabs of these seemed roomier than the 61-66 trucks and I've owned a '63 "wrong bed" before.

I like the '57 trucks and would not mind having one, although this is not one, and I don't need another project either.
