Default shock link

At the top of the link is a threaded plug that screws in and then is secured with a cotter pin. How tight should this plug be screwed down ? Thanks, Bill

I just screwed mine down until there was no movement in the balls then a bit further to get the splitpin in. Been working fine.

Be sure to put lots of grease in the link tube before you put the plug in.
