Re: SPARK at COIL but NOT at POINTS - PLUGS, seeking advice.
Is there a reason you don't want to keep them on your harddrive or local storage?

Re: SPARK at COIL but NOT at POINTS - PLUGS, seeking advice.
JSeery, I figured out how to post photos... been a while.
Here's what looks like a bent connection... turned out to be a tear in the brass, that was just barely hanging on. Here I've pushed on the tear to make a complete break. And here's my solution. Seems to be working. But the bearings are shot and there are other issues. My "back-up" distributor is in similar rough shape. I think Bubba might get some of my money anyway. Thanks again for everyone's input, it all really did help. |

I post photos on here directly from my computer. But they can't be big or you get the message that your upload file failed.

edhd58, I created an "album" and then loaded the photos to that, then from there to this post. Your '42 in the thumbnail you just posted looks about the same condition as my Merc... also a 4 door. My engine will be the nicest thing on the car (someday).

Mart, Yeah, it's clear all around and secure.
I'm just glad I already had a scrap of correct thickness brass and the right size hole punch. Sometimes it does just fall into place like that. |
