Coupe seat removal
I've scoured the forums and the Les Andrews books but can't find an answer on how to remove the seat base from my coupe. I have the cushion/springs out, but want to remove the seat frame completely. Any pointers to this info or tips would be helpful.
Funny side note: I noticed three sheet metal screws sticking up in the seat pan from underneath. Crawled under and looked up to see a 6" speaker mounted to the bottom of the car. Craziest Model A accessory ever. |

Re: Coupe seat removal
Dan;
If I remember correctly there are three screws that hold the frame onto rails on each side of the seat. Remove these and the adjusting screw in the front of the seat and the seat bottoom frame will come right out. Be careful not to break the adjusting screw or nut. Replacing them is not fun. Dick |

Re: Coupe seat removal
It's a 31. I'll look for the bolts/screws. I suspect they may have been covered up when it was re-uplustered, as they aren't apparent looking at it right now.
