A little engine dress up
I like shiny brass. Wish there was more on my A.
I split a 1-1/2" dia. brass sink tailpiece and put it over my oil fill tube. Fits perfectly. Makes me smile when I check my oil. |

Re: A little engine dress up
I took the original bead blasted it then hit it with a scotch brite pad then took it to the buffing wheel with jewelers rouge, buff it out to chrome did the same with the oil drain back tube
looks good they had good metal back then with nickle in it instead of tin like everything is today |
