Default 1927 model maybe?

I just got this home and know nothing about Model T. The serial number on the motor 14905117 I think would make it 1927 model. I have no way of knowing if the motor has been changed out or not. I was hoping by posting some pictures someone could recognize some parts to confirm it is 1927. I did not see any numbers stamped in the frame in which I read somewhere they started doing this in 1926?

How and where do you check the oil?

Can someone suggest a title, or author of a Model T book for dummies?

To check the oil open the top petcock under the transmission, if no oil open the bottom one. oil is to be between these 2. Drain all the old oil and refill till it spills from the top petcock. Get a copy of the owners manual and a copy of the original service manual. The S.M. reprint covers all years basically, and the improved model completely. Yours is the improved model.
