32 fuel gauge tubing
Does anyone have the ticket on how to cut the very small copper air line to the gauge without crimping it?

Seems you could put a nail in the end to support it then cut the tube and the nail with a dremel?

Re: 32 fuel gauge tubing
My local hardware store had a extra small tubing cutter that did it perfectly

Re: 32 fuel gauge tubing
I think I solved My own problem. Even using the fine tooth hacksaw, the soft very small copper tubing would close up. Using a slightly worn carbide ceramic tile blade, it worked. The kind of blade you put in a hacksaw frame. Just be gentle and go slow. My wife liked that last sentence. Thanks for all the responce.

Re: 32 fuel gauge tubing
Go to your local hobby shop to find a tubing cutter to use on the small 1/8" tubing. That's where I bought mine. Home Depot and Lowes won't have one for tubing that small.

Re: 32 fuel gauge tubing
I have a mini tubing cutter that I bought at NAPA, years ago. It works great on 1/8in. copper line. Just don't force it too hard, be gentle and go slow. Now my wife liked my last comment. LOL.
