Christmas came early
A long time customer of mine said they were cleaning out the basement and ask if I would be interested in some old car stuff?
And what do you think my reply was? I was like a kid on Christmas morning. The Tunemaster 500 was incredible. It's the most complete set I have seen, and with a nice stand. It has been used but well taken care of. It has all the original paper work and manuals and some additional gauges. Even has the original dust cover. Which probably explains why it is in such good condition. Next is the acra-speed wheel balancer. Just as good of shape. Has paper work and instruction with tools and10 lbs and weights. Also has a few sample rim pieces with weights attached. It's not that they are worth a alot. And of little use with all the modern equipment of today. But I have always been drawn to the older things, which may explain why I am here with a model A. So this Christmas is off to a great start. |

Re: Christmas came early
Hi 1930,
I always admired happy people who are so happy with the simple things in life ... good loving children, a good loving wife, loving dogs who admire their owners, purring kittens, etc. When millionaires and Congressmen go to McDonald's, they can afford, but cannot enjoy eating more hamburgers than us working citizens .... they can only enjoy one movie at a time like us ..... no comment on sex ...... but, everybody & experienced working citizens can answer that concern! Almost none of these so called upper class are interested in Model A parts ..... met many in my life ...... most are not at all really as happy as we citizens are who appreciate life's simple things. Just thanks for sharing your most sincere & wonderful Christmas Spirit. Last edited by H. L. Chauvin; 12-01-2016 at 01:43 AM. Reason: typo |

Re: Christmas came early
Nice tools and in remarkable condition.
That's identical to the wheel balancer we used at the service station in the 60's. In fact the last time I was at the junk yard about 6 weeks ago I removed a bunch of wheel weights, so I'd have a good selection when I balance tires. |

Re: Christmas came early
Thanks for the date line SS.
We're old neighbors, i spent a few years in Everett and Monroe in the mid 70's. I think the most beautiful part of the country I have ever seen. |
