Anyone going to Dawsonville? if so where do you stay?

Dad and I will be driving up from upstate SC. We usually just stay all day Sat though. Last year was our first experience, and we plan on going back again.

We stayed in our Motorhome at the church that was very nice.But this year we plan on staying at a motel.Not sure which one.

We're planning to go again. We always stay in Dahlonega, a few miles north of Dawsonville. It's a nice little town with lots of places to eat.

I,should be there , but I stay at friends house 8miles away. Dahlonega heas several motels & is about 13 miles from Dawsonville .

You know I'll be there, staying at my Mom's in Sautee and we're planning on having a BBQ on Friday the 22nd after the driving tour. Her house is not far from Lake Unicoi, where the driving tour ends. PM me if you'd like to attend the BBQ as I'll need a head count.
