The Early Ford V8 Club (earlyfordv8.org) has a restoration guideline book for 1941-48. I haven't seen this one but the other restoration guideline books from them I have seen are well worth the money.

I just ran the serial number, it is in fact a 1942, but is titled as a 41, silly Maryland.

Thanks for all the well wishes and I will definitely be picking your brain Meric.

My battery came in today, i threw it in real quick.....the only thing that worked was the heater and that doesn't even have hoses running to it, I'm not even sure where they would go under the hood. I know the starter solenoid is bad, but if you jump it, it turns over, so that is a good start.
