Default 1947 pickup latch spring

The door latch spring on my 1947 pickup broke. I have been trying to buy a new one but all of the places I call are unable to tell me what spring to buy. Drakes sells the assembly but they were sold out so they weren't able to compare. Does anyone know what spring I need to buy. Thanks

We get ours from C&G. Part number for 37-47 pickup is 78-702267. No "A" suffix. You may need the spring clip, as the originals often break or are broken. Ask for B-702269. C&G hone is 1-800/266-0470. Back orders are rare at C&G.
