Re: Bill's Bangers
Bill is an outstanding human being! Not just for doing rebuilds, but also for almost any advice about Model A or B stuff.
I told him I was thinking about getting an engine built for my A, Bill took the time (must have been hours) to research what I do and don't want through dozens of email "questionaires" he typed up, and made a word document for me to take to the engine shop to explain what I do and don't want, and why. He didn't make a dime off of that, he just did it because he is THAT helpful. |

Re: Bill's Bangers
Just got my Tilly back from Bill, looks to be an excellent job. Didn't hurt me price wise, and couldn't have been more thorough. Took a while to complete ,but with winter being in full swing, he couldn't run the carb until the weather broke. All in all a quality job for a fair price.

Re: Bill's Bangers
I can no longer access Bill's website. Can anyone offer an explanation? Has Bill retired or changed his web address? I hope he is OK. He had some great DIY info that I hope I saved somewhere.
