Ok, I know what this is, but exactly how does it fit?
1947Where do the mounting holes on the radiator to apron splash shieldmount to?
Does it attach to the frame, or to the front clip? I vaguely recall pulling it off the frame in order to work on it. |

Well looking at my 35, which is completely different shape. I’m thinking it might mount underneath the radiator ?
The green Bible has pictures of all the parts, but not real clear on where the bolts go. |

There should be two holes in the bottom flange of the frame under the radiator area. The part ducts air up to cool the radiator. If you hold it up under your frame you can match up the two holes.

ww46 is right in describing the holes in the frame. The lower section with the drain hole goes to the rear and it fits below the sway bar and above the tie rod, with one bolt in each end through the frame. There is also a rubber strip P/N 21A-8208-K in Bob Drake catalogue, that fits over the upper edge, as seen in "Air Dam1"

Ok good, thank you so it goes right behind the front crossmember.
Thanks to all, I just had a hard time picturing it. |

The lower seal looks like the attached. There is also a seal strip on the top shroud as well, and I sometimes wonder if cars that have overheating issues are missing these seal strips.
