Default Bruce Horkeys wood & parts contact

Anyone know how to contact a live person at Horkeys?

I have a few questions about their bed kit for my 34. I’ve called their 507-831-5625 number today and 2 weeks ago and get no answer. It rings and rings until a fax machine picks up. Also emailed them 2 weeks ago, no reply.

If it's that hard to give them your money imagine how hard it would be to get something in return... just my opinion

There are other reputable manufacturers producing wood for your 34 floor. I did a deuce pickup with a stock style box (Same basic floor as a 33/34) a few years ago and the oak and stainless floor kit from Mack Hils was a really good product made to fit a stock box. Wood finished up really nice with minimal effort and the polished bed strips were very nice.

Mack Product wood bed kit with oak boards and Ss strips is only $390. Seems fairly priced. I would just need to figure out DIY riser to raise floor above the bottom, horizontal reveal on front bed wall.

drfromnc...I have bought from Horkey in the past as has one of my local friends who was redoing a late 30's Plymouth pickup and a 46 Dodge pickup. They provided the wood for my 39 panel delivery floor as well as some of the wood and stainless for my 37 half-ton stake pickup streetrod. They carried a wide variety of exotic woods for custom beds in addition to more factory type woods. I found them to be a first-class provider. I hope that they have not met with some kind of calamity. I think they are worth the effort to continue trying to contact them. Please note that I am in no way being negative about the other suppliers mentioned by the others responding.

Sure, I am in the research phase for my bed and saw their products. I’ll try to reach out again when I’m ready to pull trigger on ordering. Who knows they might reply to email one day.

Last effort…
If a fax machine picks up, try faxing them.
Then no answer move on. Difficulty in contact is a warning
