Schneider cam
Anyone running a 248 or 250 Schneider cam in an 8ba and can you use stock valve springs in an otherwise stock engine? Thanks in advance! mike

Re: Schneider cam
I'd say ses, just add a .060" spacer and keep it under 5K

Re: Schneider cam
I built my 59A/B with a Schneider 248f. Great street cam.
Running Lincoln Zephyr springs. Approximately 70 lb seat pressure with no shims. |

Re: Schneider cam
You could do the simple thing and call Jerry Cantrell at Schneider Cams. He can tell you in short order what spring is best and what are good alternatives. The number is (619) 297-0227 . I've been using Jerry's cams exclusively for over 40 years, in all types of engines (especially my favorite, flatheads) and never has he steered me wrong. Great guy and great product. And, NO I don't get any kick back. Just great performance!
