RIP Vic Edelbrock Jr.
NHRA Motorsports Museum
We are deeply saddened by the news that we lost one of the true legends of hot rodding, Vic Edelbrock Jr. Following in his father's footsteps he led the family business and was a racer, an innovator, a champion of historic preservation, an aviator, a boater and so much more. Our thoughts go out to his wife, his daughters and family. |

Re: RIP Vic Edelbrock Jr.
Sad to hear, prayers for the Edelbrock family. Now the really wired thing, I got called out for work early this morning and threw on my clothes, one being a red shirt, my hair was all "bed head" so I grabbed the only red hat I had (and have never worn, and actually got at a tour of edelbrock's facility tour) and wore it for the first time this morning.. now I read Vic Jr passed.

Re: RIP Vic Edelbrock Jr.
Oh Crap! I just saw him late last year at the PRI show . . . such a wonderful gentleman and legend in our world. Also, I grew up in Torrance CA and I continuously hear about how much Edelbrock gives back to the community - great people, great company and I wish you Godspeed Vic Jr.!

Re: RIP Vic Edelbrock Jr.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to Vic Edelbrock Jr . If you own or ever owned a hot rod, you had at least one part on it made by Edelbrock or a part made by somebody trying to do as good as Edelbrock built them. He had many competitors but NO peers! A true gentleman, innovator, and leader. SEMA would sema with out him if it still existed at all. Rest in peace Vic and thank you.
