rogeroadster.
According to: http://www.hccsc.info/upcomingevents.html December 29-Holiday Motor Excursion Irwindale Speedway 7:00 am Tour at 10:00 am Also I see that it is open to Pre-1932 Automobiles, which is an neat. Flyer: http://www.hccsc.info/files/hme2013.pdf Glad to see that the HCCA has advanced a few years. I haven't heard of HCCA here in the far north for twenty something years, we used to have the Horseless Carriage Club of Fairbanks years ago, however it became a AACA Club during the '90 or so. Do you have a pre-1916 Vehicle? I always thought that it was cool, but I was into Model A's. Darryl in Fairbanks |

Re: HCCA Holiday Motor Excursion
You gotta love the internet when someone from Alaska can tell me what's happening in my own back yard. Thanks so much.
This is a great show even if you go as a spectator. My earliest is a '26. |

Re: HCCA Holiday Motor Excursion
rogeroadster,
I am a past VP of the local HCCA, my oldest is a 1926 Chevrolet Touring, completely unrestored, or worse, I have not even had it running. I traded my '25 Studebaker for the '30 Phaeton I have now. I used to be quite active in the Horseless Carriage Club many years ago, so it was kind of cool to look up what they were up to these days. I knew the original founders of the HCCA here back then and always enjoyed the older/oldest cars and their owners. Had to have 5 members owned pre-'16 cars to start a club. Darryl in Fairbanks |

Re: HCCA Holiday Motor Excursion
I plan on attending again this year. It is a great show in the parking lot before heading out on the tour. The tour takes you through some unbelievable neighborhoods in Pasadena and San Marino. I highly recommend this free event to anyone in the area that can make it.

Re: HCCA Holiday Motor Excursion
I got home a couple of hours ago from the 2013 Holiday Motor Excursion in Pasadena, CA. It was an unbelievable time, as always and the weather could not have been nicer this year at about 76 degrees today. Here are some pictures of the almost 300 cars.

Re: HCCA Holiday Motor Excursion
Thanks for posting the great photos. The one thing I miss the most about living in LA is the Holiday Motor Excursion. This has been a landmark event for several decades now and seems to keep getting better with age.
