They were in the hell for stout category. Damn sure nothing wrong with the design. The custom cab version is nice. Many have the 292 Y-block V8 in it's final version.

I hope the conditions of the two vehicles were the opposite of what dmsfrr posted above.

Just killing time until Doug1 replies or posts some photos...
Sorry, I couldn't help it. A guy walks into an auto-parts store and says "I'd like a gas cap for my Yugo." The salesman says "Not a good trade." . Last edited by dmsfrr; 05-30-2018 at 07:27 PM. |

To the OP, Doug..... Please post some pix of your '64 F-100, as most all of
us ol' fogies enjoy looking at pix of members rides and some details about it. Hope the lite-humor initiation jabs don't scare you off. Most all members here on the FB are pretty easy to get along with. If you need help posting pictures, just ask and someone will help you post 'em. .

Re: Just traded a C5 corvette for a 1964 f100
Attaching your own photos here is initially a royal pain, and it's more trouble now than it used to be.
It gets slightly easier with repetition. If the photo is on the internet with it's own url you can click the "insert image' button located in the upper border of the 'quick reply' text box of your post/comment to add the url linked photo into the post. (disclaimer: I've never tried this) If you're trying to post a photo from your: phone, digital camera, computer, etc. that device has to be the same one, or connected to, the PC or phone, etc. you're creating/typing the post or comment from. When you're creating a comment or post look just below the bottom of the text box. If there's a "Go Advanced" button click that one for the 'advanced' functions. One of which is a 'paperclip' image icon/button in the top border of the new text box. (it's just to the right of the smilie face button) Clicking the paperclip icon opens a 'Manage Attachments' pop-up box to select & add photos as an attachment. "Browse" / navigate to the image file and click the 'upload' button. If the photo file size is too large you may get a 'token error' or 'upload failure'. The max file size of the image has to be just under 2MB as near as I can tell. I'm fairly sure there are easier or better ways to add photos but so far I haven't found them. Several other folks here do much better at this than I, and should be able to add to this or correct me. I'm not in the 'inherently computer literate' group. . In Australia, Ford offered the 1964 Ford F100 with a 6 cylinder 223 engine or the optional 292 OHV V8. This was the first year that the Style-side Body was offered. This is the cover of the original Sales Brochure. |

This is the cover of the 1963 Ford F100 Australian Sales Brochure. Note the pickup bed that was the only one offered in Australia. It was wider than the USA styled Pickup Beds as the walls were 58.75 inches with 48 inches between the wheel wells. |

Re: Just traded a C5 corvette for a 1964 f100
There is an art to adding photos to Ford Barn. When I first signed up, I used to send pictures to a friend to add to the Posts in Ford Barn for me, however, I was told how to add small pictures, and I took it from there. You have to start with adding small pictures, then once you get experience, you can start adding larger ones. Once again, I was told how to add large pictures, and without this help, I would never have figured out how to add large pictures. I personally have two Screens, and could not survive with out both of them. It makes life so much easier. I display all my pictures on my right hand screen, and then when I open Ford Barn and want to add a picture, I merely drag the picture from one screen to the other. I hope that this helps.

Re: Just traded a C5 corvette for a 1964 f100
If you have the picture on your computer, it is very easy to load pictures on this site.
Go down to Attach Files, click on Manage Attachments. Then click on browse and go to the picture on your computer, click on that and then click on open. The file name will come up next to "browse". Then click on Upload. Once that is done, just click on Close This Window And you are finished. This is for Microsoft, Apple may be different.
