Default MARK USA Gears

The MARK USA Gears I just recieved have .005 clearance on my 1.25 main shaft. This is about .035+ more than my original gears.

This seems excessive, has anyone had any experience with these gears?

Seems a bit loose. The bulletins reference the spline width and dia. Page 303. It says the dia of main shaft was changed to 1.2485/ 1.249 and the gears 1.2495/ 1.2505 Ford suggested assembling by selective fit.

Mine (Mark USA) seemed loose to me, too, but I installed them anyway, because they are the best available on the market, and the trans is quiet and shifts beautifully. Given the amount of miles I expect this car will have in my lifetime (and probably for the foreseeable future) I don't expect there will be any problems.
