1936 gunmetal grey PPG code
My local paint store is having trouble matching to a old ditzler formula. Does anyone have a PPG formula for the 1936 Gunmetal Gray color? Thanks in advance!

Do you have a sample of the color, like a door, or fender, etc. Most paint stores can scan it and come up with a match. The computer will generate a formula for them to use.

Michael, if you have the Ditzler/PPG book with the paint chips maybe the store can scan the chip?

Hey....
Did I not show you a picture of my pickup this past week? I have it. But I am still traveling. Will dupont one-step formula work? |

This is from a old PPG chip chart. Dal: lacquer. DQE: Enamal
Interested if this info makes any sense or translates to today. Last edited by Tinker; 03-01-2019 at 10:37 PM. |

Funny --- i didn't even think about South Dakota.
I was stuck in 68 degree San Diego. And once again, I was over 3 hours late returning home due to weather. |
