Quick Question
Hey Guys,
I'm installing a new timing gear. It seems tha repro isn't as thick as the original (what's new) and the nut doesn't seat completely leaving the gear loose. Can I put a flat washer in there to take up the slack? Thanks in advance, Pete |

Re: Quick Question
Hmmm, doesn't sound ideal... might want to talk to your supplier...

Re: Quick Question
Thanks Frank,
I think my nut may be bent a little bit. Sure goes on hard. I may break down and order a new one. It's a spare engine so I have plenty of time. Pete Last edited by Peter J; 09-10-2012 at 02:52 PM. Reason: additional |
