Default Question about a new top.

I just bought a '30 Tudor. No material on the top. Just the chicken wire. There is new top material in a box. What is missing are the metal edging strips that go around the perimeter. Hopefully somebody makes them?

Did you get your question answered? There should be a denim cloth type material over the wire, then a cotton pad material - not foam rubber, then the vinyl top material. There are metal strip moldings available for purchase for the front and rear as the drip moldings mentioned before. Lebaron Bonny can probably help with the materials, I know they sell the full kits. The roof strips are available from Bratton's and maybe Snyder's

The strips sold by the venders need to be bent... good luck on bending the rear one...
The header strip is very easy..
The prebent gutters are great but not being made right now..

I have original gutters and a rear strip if u strike out...

P.S. are u still a costco member. LOL

I bought some of the metal strips for the sides and rear of my Town Sedan.
They came rolled up in a box. After hours of trying to straighten them out, I had to drill holes for the nails. I eventually thew them out and used a "Hidem strip".
It looks much better than the bent up strips would have and is much easier.
