Default Calling australian delivered 1935 owners

Guys i'd like to put together a register of australian delivered 1935 cars, wherever they may be around the world. I have listed the 1935 production details, and added one of my cars, the others i will add once i return home and check the body numbers. Don't add your contact details, the register is purely for the benefit of those with an interest. Don't forget to contact owners of other aussie 35s, and ask if they would like to add their car to the register, and include the body number, whether it is original, restored, under restoration, hot rod, parts car and town. There were 7086 aussie delivered 35's, how many are left?

Dan, by your use of the word "delivered", are we to understand that there were some Austrailian Fords exported?

Alan, i don't think so. I think, and i'm sure i will be corrected by our kiwi friends on the barn, that the new zealand cars were sent to them direct from canada. But i do know alot of cars have been purchased here and exported around the world, particularly over the last 30 years or so.

Dan ,you are correct, NZ Ford v8's came direct from Canada but in recent years there have been private sales between NZ & Aussie. Kiwis want the open models & you want the Coupes & Tudors etc.

I would be curious to know how many 1940 Australian coupe utes were built and how many remain today.

Hi Dan, Years ago there was a Ford guy living in Mcgraths Hill in Sydney. He had established a register of 35/36 Fords. I'm not sure if he was a member of the EFV8CA (NSW) but someone here may know of him.

Good luck.

I am listing this in the EFV8 QLD club magazine and so the other state clubs will eventually get it. However, if there is already a register that is in existence, then it makes sense to just add the other known cars to the register, and get the register out to the other clubs. I would really appreciate word of mouth to help get this off the ground. Ok while writing this post I've just found out that the guy in Mcgraths Hill is a rodder, and my buddy will see him in 2 weeks time, but more than likely his register has more rods on it. But it has been suggested to include 36s in the register as well. So, to all who may be reading this with an Aussie delivered 35 or 36, lets get your details down in the register.
