Walt,JWL and ol ron
I said before boys , take a bow,
We had our last run in New Zealand on Masterton airport, with planes taking off on the grass beside the strip,(they were WW1 fighters, biplanes and triplanes.) On the last run we did our NEW best 9.64 @ 137.99 MPH My brother inlaw did some work on our data logiing setup and this helped us get the A/F ratio spot on The flathead was sure a crowd pleaser at all the meetings we went to here in NZ, TV and paper interveiws. as well as crowds around the flathead, all asking questions .Also it was on all the trophys at Masterton. It ran like a true flathead all the time we were here, never mised a beat and started first up every time. We are off home tomorrow and the car is on its way as well. I will post some pics when we get home. Lawrie |

Re: Walt,JWL and ol ron
I had the immense pleasure of meeting Lawrie and taking in a few passes of his dragster whilst he was at Masterton [my home town]. I actually took a video of his last pass, the fastest to date as he mentioned in the above post. I have forwarded it on to him, and I am sure he will put it on the barn. He asked if I would do so, but I'm too dense to fathom how to post pix on the forum. Brian

Re: Walt,JWL and ol ron
Don't think I can take any credit for that, just give you a few ideas and hope some help. That is quite an accomplishment and something you can be proud of.
Take care. Ol' Ron |

Hey Lawrie, I'm running out of room posting your lastest speeds and time on the pic of your dragster hanging in my shop. Rockie wants to know if you want to run her V-W. lol. Walt
