Default Convertible Top Question?

I was surfing the internet and found this company, M&T Manufacturing aka: www.convertibletopguys.com, in South Kingstown, RI. I'm looking for tops for both our '39 LZ and '49 Cosmo and I'd like to know if any of you have done business with this company, and if so, were you satisfied with the product? Thanks, Vic

Hey Vic,
You have a 47? conv? Does it have break away snaps on the rear top slopes? I believe I saw a referance to those somewhere once and could never find it again. I know if you do not unsnap with std fastners, RIP......

Jim, that is true, the stock factory top and the LeBaron Bonney replacement top have the snaps you are referring to however, I always unsnap them as a precaution, before I lower the top, because if they don't “break away” they will rip!!! Been there, done that...
