Hi Barners,
My 36 Fuel tank is going in the attic for longterm storage. What size and thread PLUG will I need to close the fuel line? Suggestions on where to get it?
Thanks,

If I am not mistaken, that is a special thread that Ford used. Napa carries them. Get a fitting and plug it up if you have to.

I believe the threads are 1/2-20. An old ford fuel line fitting with the line pinched off would be good. You don't want to jamb a bolt down in there and damage the seat for the ferrule when you replace the fuel line.G.M.

Too simple? what's wrong with just a neoprene cork? If it's tapered, you could sort of screw it in.

If a drinking glass is made out of plastic, why do they still call it a glass?
