Rear Hub Seal.
Can the rear hub seal be replaced with just basic tools? Or do you need specific tools to do this? I have a leak coming down the outside of the backing plate which I dont believe is brake fluid. But of course wont know until I pull the Drum off. cheers

Re: Rear Hub Seal.
You'll need a good hub puller . If it's gear oil you'll likely need new axle seals located inside the axle housing.

Re: Rear Hub Seal.
Just hope that the axle seal is bad and not pitting on the axle housing surface. Also check that differential lube is not over full, like all the way level with the fill opening. Should be about a finger width below that.
