Default Broken starter bolt in housing

Any wat to get the broken bolt out of bell housing on a 29!!!!! Easy

prob,best bet is to drill smaller hole in what,s left of bolt,saturate with penatrating oil&use whats call an easy out.heat will help a lot,but very carefully.heat lamp might -be safest---tom

Are you speaking of a broken bolt from the bendix that as dropped inside, if so do a search there are many methods to retrieve it.

You can remove the starter and put a wad of wheel bearing grease on the flywheel and slowly rotate it.

You might get lucky and the broken bolt will be captured by the wad of grease.

I used the magnet with the flexible wire(snap on?) 1'st try got the washer, second try had the bolt. Took more time to find the tool than the bolt!

If it is bendix bolt I had it happen twice. Removed the starter and also used a flex magnet, got it first time both times it happened - easy!
