Default Need hard to locate Southwind Heater knob

City: Covington
State: GA

I am looking for the small knob that adjusts the air flow vent on a Junior Model Southwind heater. It is shaped sort of like the choke/throttle knobs on 34-35 ford passenger cars. It has a threaded shaft on the back. The engraving on the knob is "Jr." and Jr. is enclosed in a circle, the lettering and the circle is painted red. The knob is black. Anyone have one they would be willing to sell me? Thanks. That's all I need to finish my restoration of my heater. FINALLY. Thanks Lawson Cox 404 316 6748

You are correct, that is not the knob I am looking for. But thanks for the heads up. That knob controlls the on/off function on the larger or Sr. models. I am looking for the little knob that controlls the direction of the air flow on the Jr. model 780.

Lawson,
Do you know what the part number is for the knob that you need?
