Default Convertible tops anyone used these guys?

Hi guys. Has anyone used this company for the supply of a convertible top? The link is to their 35/36 convertible sedan top. But they can supply for just about anything. Dan.

Yes, and they are great. I ordered my convertible top from them, for my 53' Merc. It is absolutely beautiful and the workmanship is off the charts. The material are the real Haartz Stayfast, not the new fake stuff. Time period was: Ordered 10/30/20 arrived 2/27/21.

Another source for convertible tops is Hirsch Automotive Products in NJ.

No, I called and asked them and they don't have the pattern. If you have an old one, they could do it, but I wound up having my interior guy make me one from the same Haartz Stayfast material as the top.

He actually said he does have a pattern for a '40, but he only made one and didn't get feedback on how it fit. I had my top shop make one for my car when they did the top but it fits pretty poorly. Debating if I want to try one from him...

Since I didn't have that option, all I can say the top quality, is outstanding.

I do know that in 53', the Ford boot covers were vinyl and the Mercury were cloth. Have no idea what it was in 40'.

I had my trimmer make the boot for my roadster. But it would be nice to order a convertible sedan top off the shelf as they’re so big and there’s nothing here in Australia to go by. Anyway thanks for the inputs. Dan .

I know I need to make anther one. Anyone that is retied and has time on their hands is not doing it right!

I had this boot cover made by the guy that installed my top. My wife made the boot bag from another yard of the same material. I fully recommend getting a boot bag made, to keep the cover clean in the trunk.

The pictures make my car look white, due to the sun.
