In previous postings and conversations, bells, buzzers, flashing lights and now clappers have been suggested. All good ideas, but too irritating. I just want the switch to cancel.

Warren,

there are flashing relays that switch off automatically after 15 seconds.

A compromise.

My dash had a small hole in the lower left. No idea what it was for and have seen the hole in a few other cars, but it was the perfect location to mount a small red LED to indicate the turn signal was on. Self cancelling would be good but not easily done. Cancelling after 15 seconds would mean i would have to turn it on multiple times at some of our intersections

Hallo und guten Nachmittag.

Back to the original post.

Unfortunately I can't give Bert's Shop a good rating. On the contrary.

I ordered and submitted the credit card details.
I got the message “Shipping label created”.

I received the invoice stamped “Paid”.

It's been 10 days now and I'm waiting for the replacement part. I wrote to Bert 6 times and received no response.

That's not how trading works! I also warned my Model A circle of friends about this impossibility. ---

Unfortunately I can't find any other dealer that offers this US production. Do any of you know of any better dealer to recommend?

Werner,

that's also been my experience with Bert's... But the parts arrived, so i assume that they are just not good at communicating. And, being sent by USPS, it may take three weeks for the parts to arrive. if you are unlucky, you have to pick them up from customs, including all the paperworkwar that is necessary.

Ich drück' Dir die Daumen...

N'Abend Ford-Freunde.

I canceled my order of the indicator switch at Bert's shop after nearly two weeks due to insufficient correspondence and unreasonable waiting times .

I had requested processing and shipping as quickly as possible because in order to continue driving my car had to pass its two-year legally required safety inspection.

In my classic car environment I will advise against Bert's shop.

Werner,

i am sorry you have had a bad experience with Berts. my experience is mixed, they do ship, but the communication is lacking. My favourite supplier is Snyders, but they do not sell this switch...
