Default Pick up cabs

Did Ford use the same pickup cabs in the thirties? How can you tell the difference?

Do not get me started on the stupidity of ethanol. I think one of the monitors is from Iowa and he will delete the thread.

Cabs were the same on most trucks except COE for any given year, but fenders were different and some interior features were different.

There were similar years like 32 thru 34, 35 & 36, 38 & 39, 40 & 41, 42 thru 47. The 37 was close to the 36 but had some items that went toward 38 too. Some folks have sucessfully changed cabs with different year models but there is usually some modifications that have to be done to get them to work. Some are way more similar than others. You just have to scrutinize the different body lines to make certain they will work. If you have any particular years in mind just specify and someone can usually tell you whether its feasable and what has to be changed.

When did Ford pick up cabs stop having the almost vertical firewall? Did the 34 pickup have the same type of firewall as the 34 car?
