34 ford frame horns
My 34 two sedan has bent frame horns and some ugly welds for a nerf bar. Does any body make new horns that can be welded into the frame? Frame horns are where the bumper brackets bolt to the frame (I did not receive a response so added this sentence).
The car is an old hot rod that has been around for fifty tears. I tried to buy it with my paper route money. The guy would not sell. I bought it a couple of years ago. I saw the pictures of Lacy's roadster and now I know the direction to go. I bought part of a brake kit from him a couple of years ago for this project. The kids that use to drive started on the conversion to hydraulic brakes but did not complete the project. They were running with two mechanical brakes on the rear only and hydraulic backing plates on the front that were not hooked up. They are old guys now in their 70's or 80's. Re: 34 ford frame horns
I have not seen replacements for sale, suggest you advertise for a bad frame that can be cut (the area you need is usually good), or contact several of the parting yards.
