When did Ford go to 12 volts?
When did Ford go to Negative ground?

1956 on the 12 V ,i assume it was same for neg ground. ken ct.

FWIW, I had a '56 that was 6 volt, special order .Connecticut state plain jane 2 door Mainline, this allowed them to use a "hand-me-down" 6 volt 2-way radio. Never did know who used the car.
