Not to be a downer but Remember sometimes things are too good to be true. I sure hope this is not the case, but be careful there are a lot of scammers out there. Good luck

e-Bay says the listing was pulled as the vehicle has been sold. Last bid was $10,700.

Okay, got it it done!
And my brother looked it over real good in person after you all started encouraging us this morning. Can’t thank you enough for your posts and confirming that the car was worthy of consideration. The seller is very open standup guy, a good time was had by all! Here are a couple more photos that weren’t in the ads, just taken today. |

Re: Buying advice 1948 Super Deluxe Tudor
Fairview,
Congratulations! I don't know what you paid for it but if it was anywhere around the $10,700 you got a good buy. Undoubtedly there will be some small things that you will want to work out that suit your taste. But you can't even begin to put any car together for that kind of money. We have a '47 DeLuxe tudor and it's a really nice driving car. We tour around in it frequently. You will enjoy your purchase, even if it has a few bugs to work out. |

Re: Buying advice 1948 Super Deluxe Tudor
Thanks Seth. I do want to clarify that it was a bit more than the $10,700. That was where the bidding was when the eBay sale was stopped. I think we got a good buy and a fair deal for both parties. At $10,700 we could have been charged with larceny!

Congrats! I'm jealous! I hate to admit it, but I've already got triple that in mine and it's still not driveable.

I think Craig (Old Henry) is having too much fun flying his Wi-Fi airplane!
