Hi Guys,

How is one supposed to install the rear quarter windows ?

I mean, if you were yo install the felt first, it won't go in will it ?

46 years ago I replaced the felts in my 31L Tudor. Removed one or both felt tracks and installed the first track by sliding it up. The second track would not slide up, so I removed the first and installed the second. Then I tried the first one and it would not slide up into place. Finally I slide what little track up with the window down and bent the tail over the top of the glass and used the window cranking it up into place. It was not pretty, but stopped the rattles.
25 years ago I removed the rivets at the bottom of the center supports, removed it all, reassembled it all, then put it back in the car, used some screws and nuts instead of the rivets. Hope this helps good luck and don’t break the glass.
