Default Heading to Decatur, Indiana

Friday I'm going to Decatur, Indiana to go over cores for new heads and the block. This progress has me very excited. I can't wait to try the new cores in blocks and heads.

Tod I'm excited for you. A new block will be one of the best things that could happen for this hobby. I know nothing about the casting business and am sure that won't keep some of us from giving you our "free, thorough" advice. Please don't give up on us because of a few. I am getting along in years and may have put in my last rebuild, but I know that had I had a choice, I would have opted for a new block instead of going through four to find one that was adequate, maybe not good, but good enough to build. But I will follow your every post and support your effort if I ever can.

Good trip yesterday to Decatur, IN. Cores for heads are coming along and the new version of block cores is under way. I am very excited at the coming prospect of castings that utilize the new cores. Should make it easier for the foundries to do their jobs.
