I have dismantled, sandblasted, primered and will paint the back of cab and the cab corner. What kind of a seal is used where they bolt together.

The closest thing to original would be friction tape the length of that joint.

The top and bottom center pieces were sealed with the same material, but those pieces were also spot welded together before the strengthening bar was assembled and bolted on over that joint.
