Fog Light Switch Connection Question
I know there are others out there using fog lights and would like to know which connection point is being connected to the swithc to power the lights? The junction box on the firewall or maybe straight to the battery? Thanks.

Re: Fog Light Switch Connection Question
I have mine connected at the terminal box on the firewall. Connect it to the post that has the yellow/black wires on it, the side that then goes down to the generator. Then the ammeter will show that you are pulling power from the battery if the draw from all of the lights exceeds what the generator is putting out.

Re: Fog Light Switch Connection Question
I have fog/driving lights that pull 25 amps total. I have a separate terminal strip under the dash that is wired direct to the battery. (through a circuit breaker) The lights are wired through a mini switch and controlled by a relay. when the switch is on, and the headlights are on low beam, the fog lights are not on. They come on when I step on the high beam switch on the floor.
