A 'set' of reds headers ? Do you have a photo of the set to share ? If you are working an A/B block, I'm familiar with tube header and a new cast iron version and , of course, the stock version exhaust manifolds. Charlie Yapp makes a 'set' of cast iron exhaust headers, but no one else to my knowledge. Anyway, just tighten the nuts on the studs alternately by hand till all are tight with a small wrench (6"). And , check retighten after warn up and cool down from time / time. I've used inch lbs , when using torque wrench, but just for checking my hand tightening system. Have never broken anything this way....when both manifolds are FLAT. Last edited by hardtimes; 07-04-2015 at 02:36 PM. Reason: .... |
