Have a very straight 1936 cabriolet grille that needs re-plating.
Looking for triple show quality. any ideas as to who does the best work? Value?
Turn around time?

I send parts I want done really well to Wrights Custom Chrome in Grafton Ohio.
They have delivered on the easy and the difficult work.

John Worden (above) has told you about the BEST there is. There are others but you didn't say where you live. If you live in the east these folks are excellent also.

Yes ... I used too Jon Wright for all the chrome on my 35 Coupe - simply outstanding work - could not be more pleased with his work

If your on the west coast consider Walkers Custom Chrome, 2145 Grand Coulee Blvd. Shasta Lake CA. 96019 He did my hood ornament on my 41 picup. You can be sure you'll get back the same piece you send him, quick turn around and very good work.

Sherms plating in Sacramento, Ca. Is the best there is hands down! Very expensive but you get what you pay for. How nice of a grill do you want?

I had a problem with Pauls Chrome. He never pulled the trunk hinge pins as promised and the chrome job shows it.

Graves Plating in Florence AL did the grill on our 35 MAY/JUNE 2010 V-8 Times cover and did a very nice job, in the time frame he stated and shipped very quick there after. Advanced Plating in Nashville did the chrome on our 32, did a good job (on all but 4 pieces which we had to send back and get redone but was not happy with either their business relations or their business practices. I have an account with them on industrial plating, which doesn't seem to matter that I am a regular customer, they didn't do what I asked them to do on "several" occasions (as far as which pieces to plate first and get back to us (they were the LAST pieces they did) as quick as possible, as far as keeping us posted as to completion dates to get payment to them to speed up shipping and possible wait times, and shipping on my shipping account with my freight handler) so I cannot in good conscience recommend them as to their customer service.

X2 for Walkers. They do all my stuff. They did work for me since the 70's.
